Product Description

Diamond Archery has introduced the latest Diamond Core Compound Bow Package 70 Pound Left Handed for the bowhunter on a budget. This Diamond bow is great. I’ve got no complaints about it at all. And the seller was extremely helpful and polite. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.

However, I have two small problems with the RAK package itself.

One, the Octane arrow rest is almost useless after a 30 or 40 shots. The felt tips were completely worn through and couldn’t hold the arrow well at all. I replaced it with a simple whisker biscuit from Trophy Ridge and it’s much more accurate and durable.

Two, (and this is no fault of the seller or the piece, but…) the Apex sight doesn’t appear to have the range needed for someone over 6 feet tall. Trying to get it sighted in, I pushed the site pin all the way and I was still hitting the bottom of the target at 20 yards. Putting in an HHA Optimizer Lite gave me a lot more range, though it was a little more expensive.
